August 2006 Update 


To date there has been no positive news from the bankruptcy action to benefit 
our members.

There is a slight chance of a partial money distribution being paid to you from 
the remaining assets of the company but its slim at best. Any substantial monies 
to be paid will come if the pending lawsuits that are filed are resolved in our 
favor. This I fear may take years for final resolution.

On a positive note I have good information that the new owner of the plant plans 
to reopen the plant on a one tank operation very soon. We have former members 
now working in the plant to help accomplish this. How many of our former members 
he plans on rehiring remains to be seen. He has made no contact with any of the 
International Unions since he purchased the plant last fall. Watch the local 
news for further developments.
